Mom was 89 and still living alone, but had ended up in the hospital a couple times so we convinced her to come live with us in January 2020. Better she wasn't alone when COVID struck, but she passed in April. I wrote this song while she was living with us, so she heard it at all the different stages. She said she liked it, but it was my mom after all.
